Hypothesis
Slavery will be associated with lower permeability of communities (a measure of more warfare) among nonpastoralist societies
Note
Permeability of communities is defined as "the number of different obstacles that need to be overcome before entering the innermost part of the settlement (6)." A positive association was found between the number of societies with slavery and permeability.
