Hypothesis
"In societies where women make a minimal contribution to subsistence, women work autonomously on food related activities or these activities are organized on a community-wide level" (234).
Note
Results were only significant in one of the two samples used. When the samples were combined, results were only significant when the intermediate rating on subsistence was eliminated.
