Hypothesis
Pressure to obey is positively associated with characteristics of music (219).

Variables tested are listed on pages 219-220. Out of 31 music variables tested against 92 child-rearing variables, 13 produced at least 56 positive relationships. This is a higher number of statistically significant relationships than could be expected by chance.
