Presence and elaborateness of menarcheal ceremonies are negatively associated with patrilocal and avunculocal residence patterns (109).
Note
Avunculocal and patrilocal residence patterns are dichotomized against matrilocal, ambilocal, and neolocal residence patterns which disperse kinsmen.
