Hypothesis
In simple societies, women will have less occupational choice than men (207)
Note
A score was devised to measure the amount of occupational choice women have compared to the amount available in the society as a whole. To test this hypothesis, the mean score for the sample was compared to what the score would be if occupational choices were equal for men and women.
