The presence of the plow will decrease female contribution to agriculture (574).

Correlation coefficient, Pearson's R=-.38 for female contribution to agriculture and presence of the plow. Multiple regression: Presence of the plow is a weak predictor of female participation in agriculture once other variables are controlled for.
