Hypothesis

Infant and child mortality rates will be higher among contemporary hunter-gatherer populations than in western, industrialized populations.

Note

Average infant mortality rate = 26.8% (SD = 6.9%) Average child mortality rate = 48.8% (SD = 5.8%); Among developed nations, the infant and child mortality rates are ~1%.
