Note
When controlling for migration effects and geographic variables, no significant association is found between income or contemporary technological development and technological adoption in 1000 BCE or 0 BCE. However, a significant (p < 0.01) positive association was found with technological adoption in 1500 CE and 2002 per capita income (r-squared = 0.54) and current technology (r-squared = 0.43).
