Usefulness of children to parents will be positively associated with Population Growth Rate (PGR) (56).

Usefulness of children to parents measured as a composite of 10 different variables, including male and female needs to have child for citizenship qualification and political office, political support for males and females from their children, the need to have children to increase male and female incomes, and the male and female needs for children to increase own esteem.
