Note
Rape was strongly disapproved of in about 46% of societies, and accepted or ignored in about 23% (similar figures for arranged marriage societies) (p.198). "There was only one significant odds ratio which indicated that agropastoral, as opposed to foraging societies, were 14.1 times more likely to classify as 'Strongly disapproved' than as 'Accepted/Ignored' (p.198)."
