Incidence of sexual deviance will be predicted by certain types of antecedent socialization (146).

Training through childhood involvement in ceremonies was a significant predictor of sexual deviance in boys (r = 0.30). In girls, childhood training by gift rewards (r = 0.37), and inculcation of responsibility (r = 0.41), industry (r = 0.35), and achievement (r = 0.56) were significantly associated.
